I like the tips discussed in this post. Actually, you can really reuse and repurpose your content in a number of ways as for me, here is how I do it though:
Repackage your older content into a new format (e.g. turn a blog post into a video or an infographic).
Create a spin-off piece of content from one of your older posts (e.g. write a follow-up blog post about the same topic, or create a social media graphic based on the original post).
Adapt one of your old posts for another audience (e.g. if you wrote a blog post aimed at beginners, rework it to be more relevant for advanced users).
Use data from an old post to create new content

I did not know you could turn your blogposts into videos with services like Lumen5 and the others mentioned. That is pretty cool and something i will start doing.
